When we’ve suffered traumas, hardships and/or are dealing with an eating disorder, our ‘things’ can became enmeshed with our personalities and who we are.
So much so that it can be hard to separate them.
Especially if we’ve become known as ‘that person that does X, Y or Z thing’.
But I want you to ask yourself…
“Who am I?”
“What do I like to do when I’m not chronically dieting or exercising or bingeing or purging?”
“Who am I when I don’t have an eating disorder?”
