If self-care was ‘easy’ there wouldn’t be so many people talking about it and encouraging us to do.

And what if self-care doesn’t always look like what’s communicated on social media? Maybe it doesn’t have to look like spa days and vacations (though these can be good things!).

It may be in the subtle shifts that we make where we can find ourselves feeling more taken care of and loved because of our intentionality to listen to what WE need.

In this week’s videos we talk about taking small shifts to come against the big hinderances we can experience when it comes to self-care – why do they happen and what we can do about it.

In this video, I talk about the two main hinderances that keep people from self-care and why we bump up against these in food recovery.
