I want to begin this blog by saying that it IS POSSIBLE to manage your food and health without the pre-occupation and over-controlling tendencies.

In order for this to happen, and for us to have the level of transformation we want, we have to learn how to be.

We have to learn how to simply be a human.

A human with needs, wants, values and desires.

We begin doing this by developing our own locus of control that allows you to internally know what is good and right.

A locus of control ‘is the extent to which you feel you have control over events that impact your life. Put another way, it is “a belief about whether the outcomes of our actions are contingent on what we do (internal control orientation) or on events outside our personal control (external control orientation).’ (verywellmind.com).
