What would it look like to approach our food and eating with subtly and curiosity, taking one step at a time?
For those of us working our way out of diet culture, we know that dieting demands an all or nothing, black and white, perfectionistic approach as the only pathway to success.
And when we break away from dieting and seek a more intuitive eating approach, we often carry our strategies over with us.
So our intuitive eating ends up being based on what got us into trouble in the first place – fear and shame-based thinking.
And that’s okay as there’s no shame here.
But what if it was possible to approach our eating slowly, subtly and with curiosity?
What if we were able to approach our food one step at a time, choosing to make small changes that allow us to be sustainable in the long run?
And what if it was possible to be your own nutrition expert?
That’s our goal here.
We don’t want you to be dependent upon us or anyone else.
That doesn’t mean you don’t receive external inputs from outside sources. It just means that you don’t throw out your own critical thinking skills and internal experiences out the window.
