Have you considered that the reason you’re emotional eating is because there isn’t enough joy and play in your routine? OR not enough true safety or connection? Eating may satisfy these feelings for awhile but eventually they will come back up again.

My encouragement to you today. It’s okay to have certain ideas of where we should be in our recovery but that doesn’t mean that those thoughts or ideas or true. It means your are bumping up against what society says you should do. Today – choose to opt-out of the cultural norms.
