Hope you are well.
This post is a snapshot of what I work on with my clients within the first 4 sessions or so.
One of the biggest concerns people have is feeling out of control with their food. Regardless of objectively binging or not, it can feel scary to not know where are edges are with eating.
I would even say 95ish% of people who work with me believe they are emotional eaters.
They come to me because they are tired of not liking their bodies, tired of not being able to stay on a diet and just…tired.
Tired of coming home and eating on the couch at night and feeling like they can’t stop.
Of not feeling good in their body.

Making peace with your food and body is brave work. It’s not fast or always easy. But what I’ve found being on the other side is the pain of pride hiding my lack of self-worth that I tried to get through diet behaviors would have been a life not lived. And I certainly wouldn’t know who I really am.
I deeply want
