I have been doing this work since 2006.
There was once a time when people could easily recognize their motivations behind their dieting, eating disorders or body image issues. It was this or that motivation.
But then something shifted.
However, if we’re saying ‘I’ll stop dieting when….’ or we’re still restricting in some way in hopes of modifying our body, we’re still dieting. It’s just wearing different clothes.
