We all go through times of transition.
These transitions can be :
– holidays
– new jobs
– changes in our kids activities
– etc.
The structure of our days are different and that can make it challenging to keep your routines that keep you in your window of tolerance and staying intentional with your food.
These times are meant to be enjoyable and not stressful but this takes intentionality on our part to make this happen. And just because we’re experiencing something different doesn’t mean we can’t stay in recovery mode.
The purpose of this is to ensure you’re setting yourself up for getting your needs met vs. feeling lost and overwhelmed.
What can this look like?
– staying on top of our grocery shopping (or making the space in our schedule to stay on top of the shopping 🙂 )
– sticking to a good sleep routine where we’re getting adequate rest
– slowing down to figure out what’s missing or what support we need.
And that last one might be the most important.
When we slow down, have down time with contemplation, this is where new neural pathways are built.
Let’s chat more in the video below.
