This week is all about planning ahead! Setting a foundation and outline of what you want and need your recovery to look like – knowing your why and the tools you have equipped yourself with – are important when we come into seasons that may look different than where we’re at right now. Winter always has the chance to change up our routine with needing to be inside because of colder weather, or even in the midst of a pandemic, businesses closing or changing their hours has the ability to affect us and the routine we’ve built around our recovery. So what happens when we find ourselves with something out of the ‘norm’ and how we respond will depend on the recovery ‘outline’ we’ve put into place in our lives.

CREATING A RECOVERY OUTLINE

Setting foundations in your recovery is a key thing for you to build upon concerning movement, eating, etc.

ANTICIPATING CHANGES THIS SEASON WITH RECOVERY

The winter season can bring changes to our routines, whether it’s colder weather keeping us inside, businesses closing because of Covid-19, etc. Having choices and options beyond what you normally do is key to helping you set yourself up for success this season.
